Holy Day of Obligation

The Second Sunday in Advent, December 8/9, 2018

At this season of the year the focus is often on "gifts".  The gift of the Christ child, the gifts of the Magi, those gold earrings that better be under the tree this year.  Included in those treasures are all of you.  Your love of St. Mary's,  in your work and prayers for the parish and your financial support during our Stewardship of Treasure Campaign.  Beyond the other demands on your finances at this time of year you have been so generous to remember the parish, too.  THANK YOU beyond measure!  Currently we have through your generosity received $239,419 towards our goal of $369,048 which represents a participation rate of 54%.  Thanks to all who have pledged so far!

***Another wonderful Simbang Gabi celebration will be held Sunday, December 16, at the 11:00 am Mass.  A Pot Luck will follow in the Social Hall.  This is a joyful, traditional holiday celebration that is brought to us through the kindness of our friends from the Philippines.  Plan to attend and enjoy the Mass, the pageantry, the singing AND the delicious food!***
