The Thirtieth-Third Sunday

in Ordinary Time

On behalf of Father Peter and the staff of St. Mary's we wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and a rich share in God's choicest blessings for all the very best in your lives.  We thank God for you all for being with us throughout the entire year and supporting us in our work.  We reach out to our wonderful volunteers especially.  You are all truly a blessing to us and have our sincere gratitude for it.  As well, for the joy, love, kindness and faith that you all brought to our parish community over the past year we thank you.  We have such a special parish!  As memories and loved ones return to our tables this Thanksgiving let us be mindful of God's blessings received, of those who are not with us and especially those who will not have food or lodging or family to share with them this Thanksgiving Day.

Our Stewardship of Treasure Campaign is underway.  The funds received through this campaign will stay entirely in our Parish .  These funds provide the financial resources that our parish requires throughout the year to meet our working needs -- religious education programs, operating funds, grounds and building maintenance, sacramental needs to name a few   (which is different than the Annual Catholic Appeal conducted in the spring whose funds go towards Archdiocese programs.)

Currently we have received $140,073 in pledges which represents a 31% response rate for the Parish towards our goal of $369,048.

Please give prayerful consideration as to how you might help our parish with these needs.

Our Mission…

To celebrate God's presence in our midst by Mass, Sacraments, and Prayer;
To live Christ's love by serving others, especially the poor, neglected, and suffering;
To grow in the truths and values of our Catholic Tradition, teach them to our children, and proclaim them to those who do not know them.
